What it was like?
I never felt comfortable in my own skin growing up and peer pressure got the best of me. I looked forward to partying and fitting in.
What happened?
I soon lost control and my tolerance to booze and opiates skyrocketed. I switched addictions a couple times until I finally understood I couldn't use a drug or sip a beer ever again. It was either go to jail or get help. I chose to get help.
What it is like now?
I wrote two books, help others who are struggling and life a life that's meant to be. My relationships with family and friends have become stronger and healthier. I try to inspire others through my story. And I at least know that I've helped one person.
