My drinking caused my life to be unmanageable because when I took one drink, I couldn't stop drinking.

I finally admitted to myself that my drinking was out if control. I also finally got honest with myself after years of denial, and admitted that alcohol was destroying my relationships and my health. Then I surrendered and asked for help.

Wonderful! I'm now the father, friend, employee, student, and person alcohol kept me from being. I'm still feeling better all the time, one day at a time!
