What it was like?

It was a creepy crazy life, I lived every day hunting for drugs and alcohol, screwing everyone over on the way through life. Burning bridges that were rebuilt over and over.

What happened?

I was sitting on the side of my bed in a trap house, mind made up that that day would be the last, I was going to drink myself to death. By the grace of God, my I called my stepbrother and with one last ditch effort begged him to help me. He came to my house got me and took me to the emergency room. I was admitted into the hospital and detoxed for 4 days in DT's, and the worst case of the poor me's. I was then accepted into an 11 month rehab where by the grace and mercy of God I stayed.

What it is like now?

Since I have been in that Treatment Center, I have been sober and now I am gainfully employed by them. I also still attend AA meetings on a regular basis each week.
