Years of insanity from the first drink I picked up at the age of 13. Drinking till I blacked out every single time, trying every drug that I came across and abusing the ones I liked. Got to the point of taking up to 40 norcos a day. Reached the point of desperation where I no longer wanted to live but was too afraid to end my own life, hoping something or someone would do it for me.

My family took my daughter, I lost my job, got kicked out of school, had no money, had no self worth, I weighed 93 lbs and hated everything about myself and what my life had become.

I’m over 2 years clean and sober, I met my husband in the rooms of NA and AA, we are healthier and happier than we both have ever been. We have a baby boy together who has never had to be around me in active addiction and I’m finally the mommy my daughter deserves. I love myself and my life, all thanks to recovery.
