It was a very dark place

I used alcohol as a coping method to the struggles of life and it almost killed me. I ended up in ICU for 2 weeks with acute kidney and liver injury and didn't know what the future held.

I have been sober 3 years 9 months and 23 days and regained my health back. It still is a challenge and I do have hard days but I am a much better person sober and happier.
