01 What it was like
I was hopelessly addicted to meth. I was burning all my bridges. I did whatever it took to get and stay loaded.
I lost everything; my home, my fiancee, custody of my daughter.
02 What happened
I lost everything; my home, my fiancee, custody of my daughter. I lost all my dignity and self-respect and was back on the streets, homeless. I came to a crossroads. I was either going to continue down the same path and die out on the streets, or I was going to get my life back. I checked into a recovery home and started down the road to recovery
03 What it is like now
I'm married to the fiancee I had lost 18 years ago, she got clean as well. We got custody of our daughter back. We have good jobs, a home. We are leaders in Celebrate Recovery and I am also a State Rep for the program. I share my testimony at programs all over. I'm giving back!
