Name: Stephen A.

Age: 64

Sober Since: 05 / 12 / 2000

Sober For: 23 Years & 349 Days

What it was like?

Multiple decade enslavement to substances. I started at an early age,(11) and did not stop until age 40. I had no hope no life, no reason to exist.

What happened?

I listened to someone I did not gave to, taking their suggestion entirely on faith. I had never tried being clean and sober before.

What it is like now?

I am completing a doctorate programme, I have the honour of being of service to a very long running meeting, as well as to my community. My gratitude and amazement at what a programme of recovery could do for someone like me… it can happen to you, too!!
