Being an active alcoholic was a minute by minute living hell.

I was pulled over in a parking lot. Prescriptions and alcohol were in my system from the night before. My son told me I had a choice...see my grandchildren or drink. I knew he meant it. I quit cold turkey which led to being hospitalized.

It was a very slow road, but looking back and seeing how much better my life is today, I'm living. I love so hard! But I also know the hurt I put on so many people. It's a never ending forgiveness process. It's much easier to face my demons and Know that a drink is not going to make the difference. Life is good.
