What it was like?
Getting sober was the best thing that ever happened to me. The rooms of alcoholic anonymous meetings were my saving grace. I’ll forever be grateful.
What happened?
I was with a person at the time who was older than me and a full blown addict. He taught me everything I knew and made it “okay†to try hard drugs.
What it is like now?
My life now is amazing and I’m so fortunate to have recovered early. At the time I was always the youngest person in AA rooms but I found people who were willing to support me and I’ll forever be grateful for that..
