My life was hell prior to my sobriety. I ruined relationships. I ruined myself. All I cared about was finding my next hit and next drink.

I tried to commit suicide because the life of an addict was too much for me. I didn't succeed. While in the ER a social worker asked if I wanted help. I did. Third time in rehab worked.

My life is amazing. I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart. The heart that refused to feel prior to 2007. I'm grateful every day... every second for the Universe.
