Name: Anathea Chavez

Age: 51

Sober Since: 02 / 17 / 2022

Sober For: 2 Years & 40 Days

What it was like?

My life in drugs was tiring...working, staying high, believing that no-one could tell, and maintaining somewhat normal behaviors is exhausting to say the least!

What happened?

My youngest daughter was removed from her father's care, and I voluntarily placed myself into sober living, in order to gain custody of her.

What it is like now?

Now, everything is moving forward. I'm in a 9 month program through Drug and Alcohol Services, in which I test weekly, attend groups, and remain in sober living until I solidify housing for us, also CWS is helping me through Bringing Families Home, a reunification program to help get us housed!
