      Additional Information About University of Massachusetts Boston

      A network of students committed to recovery and helping one another to be successful in and out of the college environment, raising awareness of substance use and mental health issues, promoting a culture of recovery, helping to reduce stigma and increase help seeking, and increase the resources available to students in recovery, their families and communities.  Activities include mutual support groups (12 step and other), engagement in campus events and programming, assistance with outreach and community service.  To learn more, including how to participate, please click here.

      Individual consultation on a limited or ongoing basis, relapse prevention recovery support assistance with accessing campus and community supports and referral to internal and external resources.  These services are provided by a professional staff member who has experience and expertise in substance use and mental health disorders and recovery-oriented approaches.       Contributing to a culture of acceptance, inclusion and awareness about substance use and mental health disorders and recovery through ongoing community education, advocacy and action.
