My drunk a lot goes back 42 years from the day I was born May 20, 1958 until present time .

What it was like being a slave of king alcohol I was A liar a cheat and a thief and character assassinated whomever whatever however I could to get what I want to drunk and sober .

I looked in the mirror and I saw that I was the problem after 1 year of not drinking or using drugs and went to an AA meeting and stayed around for five years then relapsed for six years .

I failed to grow spiritually and became a user again of people places things drugs and alcohol .

I lost nearly all that I loved and held so dearly so I went back to Alcoholics Anonymous .

What it’s like now is that I have a 24 year relationship with my wife and 33-year-old son and 35-year-old daughter the power of we us and our is in the house. Love is greater than I self me ?

I have the same sponsor for 18 years and Sponser men in recovery and go to no less than two meetings a week .

Sober to me is Sobriety Offers Better Emotional Reaction To life on Earth ?
