I woke up in a holding cell drunk tank after being arrested for DUI which was my four alcohol-related arrest. I was entitled, egotistical, judgemental, angry, scared, insecure, defeated, etc.

I was lucky enough to experience the love and acceptance of incredible people in recovery rooms. I began to learn the tools to properly cope with the issues from my past as well as how to handle future events.

I have learned the power of Service and Gratitude. I have an incredibly fulfilling life and continue to grow. When life gets difficult, I have tools and skills and support systems to help me through. I could go on and on about how amazing it is to be sober, but I will keep it short:

I love life and I am blessed.
