Name: Patricia Arreguin

Age: 41

Sober Since: 09 / 24 / 2012

Sober For: 11 Years & 189 Days

What it was like?

Being addicted to meth... I was heartless, soulless I didn't care about anyone or anything myself included. I wanted to die so it could all be over with.

What happened?

I got incarcerated and the day I went in, at that moment I decided enough is enough & everyone knows how easy it is to get drugs even when your locked up, I chose not to use and stayed strong. I was incarcerated for 16 months straight. I stayed clean the whole time and never looked back.

What it is like now?

My Life now is AMAZING !!! Not perfect , but amazing. I have an amazing support system. My children who never gave up on me & my precious grandchildren. I have my parents and brothers and sisters also who are always so supportive. I've learned to love myself & embrace my Sobriety, because without it I would have nothing
