01 What it was like
Miserably depressing. I didn't shower, didn't eat , did not change my clothes ever , sidnt necessarily want to kill myself...but it was safe to say I didn't care one bit if I did t wake up in the morning . Was not living just simply existing and withering away to 85lbs

02 What happened
Right around this time 2016 I was in drug court, violating like a mf, having no care in the world except my next fix . I Was sent to multiple rehabs, and ran from them because I wasn't ready to face my demons , and live life on life's terms, resulting in multiple jail stays. On the verge of being terminated from drug court my next only option was prison . For some reason I got ONE more chance to get my stubborn ass in line and do things the RIGHT way. I thankfully and gratefully got accepted into the recovery pod , which had a HUGE impact on me . As I sat day by day as my court date kept getting pushed back and ripped outta my hands I thought 'This is it, this is how I'm gonna spend my life.....in and out of jails and institutions' and then something clicked . That is NO way to live !! That ISNT even living. I wanted to change , and change for good , not just for a couple months....from here on out ! Long story short, I left the recovery pod on December 18th 2016 on stipulations that I succesfully complete drug court with NO slip ups or that's it hello prison....I don't know the exact date ....but I do know and will never forget that I did indeed successfully complete the program (it only took 3 years) lol. I've had a few slip ups since then....but returned back on the right path .
I'm sharing this because I've been seeing a lot of people on my timeline feeling like their stuck and they have no shot and feel that they can't do it .....but I'm here to tell you And show you , YOU CAN DO IT ! RECOVERY IS SO POSSIBLE!!!!! As I sit here rn with nothing but grateful tears in my eyes thinking back on the absolute misery my addiction created for me ; DONT EVER GIVE UP , cause I almost did . But I'm so glad I didn't!!!!!! Because I now can see how beautiful life is. Cherish every mf moment of it . I'm 27 years old and have NOTHING to show for it but a very very grateful and big heart....but I continue to work and push toward my goals everyday. And I know soon I'll have everything I need and I'll be the beautiful woman that I've always wanted to be . Point is . . . I know it's hard , it's gonna be hard for the rest of your life .....but it's so unbelievably worth it !!!! Don't let your chance slip away like mine almost did !
03 What it is like now
Now in just a few short months I have my wonderful family back who never gave up on me !! My nephews, love , trust , and support. I got extremely close with God, got saved , baptized , got a JOB that I love !!!! And more importantly I've gained all my weight back and gotten MYSELF back !!!!
