Name: Michael

Age: 43

Sober Since: 07 / 01 / 2017

Sober For: 6 Years & 299 Days

What it was like?

Isolation, desperation, oblivious to reality or true happiness. I caused pain and chaos. I became what I despised. I hated myself with good reason.

What happened?

I decided to say yes to anything recovery related. Volunteer work, babysitting, daily goals (started with walking 1 block a day ?), long term goals, doing stuff sober people do.

What it is like now?

I climb mountains, jump off cliffs, I have great relationships, volunteer with kids (fills my heart), I drive again so I do everything now. I am very humble and enjoy simple things like hugs, nature, breathing and sharing adventures with others. @seattlebonding
