What it was like?

Getting in to recovery was the best decision I have made in my life. It has helped me connect with myself and given me a massive sense of achievement. At one point I was given six months to live so to be here today sharing my story and hopefully inspiring others is amazing

What happened?

On the 1st May 2013 something happened within me and I reached out and asked for help, the first time I have asked for help and wanted it. From that day onwards I.have been working on my recovery daily one day at a time.

What it is like now?

I feel free from the chains I put upon myself I feel grateful that I am alive. One day at a time is all that's required. I have dream goals direction and feel privileged to give something back. I help and support others recovery truly rocks. My addictions nearly killed me my recovery made me. To people still struggling I believe in you , you can do it. To all the people in recovery keep focused and keep recovering one day at a time.
