I was drinking daily, and couldn’t fathom a day without alcohol. Nothing mattered more to me than drinking, and I let so many opportunities pass because of my addiction. My life was going nowhere.

My life was being held together by a thread, I knew if I wanted to set myself up for success I had to quit now.

I’m now in schoil for community services, specialising in drug and alcohol support. I volunteer with youth weekly and it gives my life so much meaning to mentor.
