What it was like?

I had major depression and I didn't want to face reality. My alcoholism was spiraling out of control. I didn't care what happened to me.

What happened?

I woke up from a blackout. And I realized if I didn't change my ways I was going to hurt myself or others. I attended my first AA meeting. From there, my new life began.

What it is like now?

I can honestly say Wow! I've done so much in the past 20 years. I help others when I can. I always give back to what was freely given to me. I pay it forward when I can. Whenever I travel, I attend meetings to this day. I have met some amazing people in sobriety. I went to college got a bachelor degree. I live life to the fullest. I have traveled and gone on many adventures. My hobbies include hiking, backpacking, kayaking, ziplining or whatever I manifest I want to do in life.
