What it was like?

It was toxic chaos and irresponsible behavior... it was full of anger, despair, self loathing, half assed attempts and an occasional really good day or time thrown in... It was dark and lonely.

What happened?

I bottomed really hard and my family pulled an intervention, but I was sent to a 5150 ward for a week before being sent to rehab.. I gave rehab my all. I was SO, so lost and exhausted and defeated, what else could I do but try?

What it is like now?

Freedom. Literally feel like the chains and weights and burdens are gone... I've grown, into a happy, light filled spiritual being. I struggle with life BS, just like everyone else, but I don't have to stay in the struggle anymore. Dream husband, house, dog, career, friends, family and awareness of others.. yes. Awareness of and love for people besides my self... who knew?
