Name: Kathy

Age: 50

Sober Since: 09 / 14 / 2016

Sober For: 7 Years & 218 Days

What it was like?

This is actually my second time around. I relapsed after 4 years of sobriety. Still trying to figure it out.

What happened?

I was told by my doctors I wouldn't live long if I kept drinking. I have cirrhosis, early stage. The second relapse made me really sick. I knew I had to stop once again. Hardest thing I ever did. People say im strong, im not so sure.

What it is like now?

I am happier now, still trying to put my past behind me. Im still battling many demons but I take it one day at a time, minute by minute. I have 3 wonderful kids that I love so much. I want to be around for them.
