01 What it was like
Life is full of obstacles. When dealt with a certain hand, it can be easy to want to fold right away. Struggling with health for years had me pretty depressed.

02 What happened
At a very low point in my life, and being newly single out of a long-term relationship, I decided I needed to make some changes. I shifted my focus inward. I read books by Eckhart Tolle and Tony Robbins, pushed myself out of my comfort zone and challenged myself to try new things and accomplish new goals.
03 What it is like now
After a year without alcohol, my mind is clearer than ever. I'm stronger physically, but more importantly, emotionally and mentally. Life may never be easy, but it no longer has me down.
