Name: Brent L.

Age: 43

Sober Since: 12 / 16 / 2017

Sober For: 6 Years & 133 Days

What it was like?

It was homelessness, joblessness hell. No one to turn too cause I wasn't anyone anybody wanted to have around. My addiction was my God.

What happened?

I took an old d.o.c. I hadn't taken in awhile after being up on the current d.o.c. for a week when I passed out for 3 days straight and my mother has me I.o.p.'d. That's when a sheriff dept officer comes and gets you and takes you to a hospital because you have become a danger to yourself.

What it is like now?

I've changed my people, places and things and now reside in North Louisiana. I've been employed for the whole time now and I'm slowly getting my life back together. It's a process but I'm not gonna stop.
