Name: Angie @liftigweightsnotwine

Age: 43

Sober Since: 11 / 21 / 2016

Sober For: 7 Years & 152 Days

What it was like?

I was sick of spending every weekend constantly feeling hungover, tired, no energy. Feeling like I was letting my children down because I couldn’t keep up with them. I was constantly yo yo dieting and couldnt stick to any exercise regime.

What happened?

I woke up one day and just decided I had had enough, I had tried to moderate over about 18 months but just couldn’t do it. I was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired!!

What it is like now?

I will be 43 next week and I feel the fittest I have ever felt in all of my life!! I have energy every single day, I love exercising, I’ve started lifting weights, doing mud runs and just challenging myself all the time. I am a better mum and wife, I’m 100% present all of the time. Just more positive about everything too!! I will never look back, my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. Please follow my journey at liftingweightsnotwine.co.uk
