About The House Of Refuge
The House of Refuge was established in 1995 by Pastor Alfred Johnson of the Church of the First Born. We are a Christ-centered residential ministry primarily helping African-American men overcome their life-controlling addictions so they can successfully re-enter society as productive citizens. We now operate three separate facilities with a total capacity to serve 24 men.
