About The Beacon
The Beacon creates an environment that empowers women in crisis to achieve positive long-term change. We operate a 34 bed shelter and transitional recovery home and a 32 unit affordable housing apartment community, both certified NARR recovery residences. Each location provides on site case management and supportive services designed to help women and those who identify and socialize as female rebuild their lives with stability, dignity, and purpose. Through trauma informed, equity centered care, The Beacon supports women recovering from homelessness, addiction, incarceration, and domestic violence. Our programs focus on healing, housing, and long term independence.
