Stepping Stones of Baton Rouge has one MALE sober living houses; preferred ages are 28 yrs and older and also graduates of long term inpatient drug and alcohol facilities. Recovery from the disease is a long journey. Stepping Stones finds the most success when it’s residents stay for a very significant period of time, while taking the 12 steps, living in the traditions and keeping sobriety as their priority. We often say you are not ready to leave until you have taken someone else through the steps, experienced the successes and failures of employment and relationships and built a community of recovering people that you call dear friends. Service to others will always be a highly emphasized aspect of Stepping Stones.
