About Clare of Assisi House

Clare of Assisi House is a 501(c)3, non-profit transitional housing organization providing female ex-offenders a fully staffed program that includes a simple but comfortable space to live temporarily as well as the following opportunities: life skills training, parenting training, educational opportunities, employment counseling, personal counseling, Bible study, local church networking. We also have a 12-step addiction recovery support available. In addition, we attempt to address the greater social justice issues that stem from self ­defeating attitudes and behaviors that can lead to the breakdown and destruction of the family unit and negatively impact on society at large.
