- The group reads from and discusses the book Alcoholics Anonymous (the "Big Book").

- Designed for people in their first days or weeks. The format usually covers the basics of the program and how meetings work.

- A chair introduces a topic and members take turns sharing. This is the most common meeting format.

- Open meetings welcome anyone — family, friends, students, and people who are simply curious — not only those with a drinking or drug problem.
Notes from the Group
This meeting is run by the online group of the Nyack Group of Marijuana Anonymous. You can join us on Zoom using the link listed here. We are a group that always welcomes the newcomer, and gives time for celebrants to share their experience, strength, and hope. We open the meeting up for sharing and typically read Just For Today and a reading from Life with Hope. If you're chasing your recovery like you did the weed, come join us for a meeting.
