- The group reads from and discusses the book Alcoholics Anonymous (the "Big Book").
- Newcomer
- Designed for people in their first days or weeks. The format usually covers the basics of the program and how meetings work.
- Discussion
- A chair introduces a topic and members take turns sharing. This is the most common meeting format.
- Open
- Open meetings welcome anyone — family, friends, students, and people who are simply curious — not only those with a drinking or drug problem.

Higher Standards is an open meeting where we will read from the MA book and discuss the topics within. We aim to share our experience, strength and hope with each other to overcome marijuana addiction. All are welcome!
