Big Book

The group reads from and discusses the book Alcoholics Anonymous (the "Big Book").

Newcomer

Designed for people in their first days or weeks. The format usually covers the basics of the program and how meetings work.

Discussion

A chair introduces a topic and members take turns sharing. This is the most common meeting format.

Open

Open meetings welcome anyone — family, friends, students, and people who are simply curious — not only those with a drinking or drug problem.

Speaker

One or more members share their story at length. Speaker meetings are a good fit if you would rather listen than talk.

Wheelchair Access

The venue is reported as wheelchair accessible by the listing group. Call ahead if you need to confirm details like ramps or restrooms.

Notes from the Group

MA in-person has arrived in Annapolis! We look forward to seeing you. The meeting format will alternate between a Speaker share and Step reading, followed by general sharing. Contact # : (443) 294-2616
