The group reads from and discusses the book Alcoholics Anonymous (the "Big Book").

Discussion

A chair introduces a topic and members take turns sharing. This is the most common meeting format.

Open

Open meetings welcome anyone — family, friends, students, and people who are simply curious — not only those with a drinking or drug problem.

Notes from the Group

Band Camp is a creative meeting for everyone. A joyous and supportive group expressing ourselves in sober creativity. The 1st Sunday of the month we do a reading about creativity. The 3rd Sunday of the month we do a free write exercise. We hold an open mic the 2nd and 4th week of the month with a bonus 5th week when it applies. Open mic welcomes any and all art forms and creativity. Together we share our recovery experience, strength and hope in a safe, loving and creative space
