Big Book
The group reads from and discusses the book Alcoholics Anonymous (the "Big Book").
Newcomer
Designed for people in their first days or weeks. The format usually covers the basics of the program and how meetings work.
Open
Open meetings welcome anyone — family, friends, students, and people who are simply curious — not only those with a drinking or drug problem.
Speaker
One or more members share their story at length. Speaker meetings are a good fit if you would rather listen than talk.
Step Study
The meeting works through the Twelve Steps, often using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions or a step working guide.
Tradition Study
Studies the Twelve Traditions.
Wheelchair Access
The venue is reported as wheelchair accessible by the listing group. Call ahead if you need to confirm details like ramps or restrooms.

Notes from the Group

We've just updated our format. The first Monday of the month is a step study. The second Monday is a Tradition study. The third is a participation meeting. The 4th is a Concept study. If there is a 5th Monday in a month it's a speaker meeting.
