- Closed meetings are limited to people who have a desire to stop drinking or using. If you are not sure whether you qualify, an open meeting is the usual first stop.
- Big Book
- The group reads from and discusses the book Alcoholics Anonymous (the "Big Book").
- Step Study
- The meeting works through the Twelve Steps, often using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions or a step working guide.
- Wheelchair Access
- The venue is reported as wheelchair accessible by the listing group. Call ahead if you need to confirm details like ramps or restrooms.
Notes from the Group
On the 1st Tuesday of the month, the chair selects a topic from "As Bill Sees It" and that is the topic for the meeting. The 2nd Tuesday is the first 164 pages of the Big Book. The 3rd Tuesday is from "Living Sober". The 4th Tuesday is Open Discussion. If there is a 5th Thursday, it will be a speaker or discussion.
