The meeting works through the Twelve Steps, often using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions or a step working guide.

LGBTQ

Hosted by and for LGBTQ+ members. Most are open to allies; the group listing will say if attendance is restricted.

Transgender

Hosted by and for LGBTQ+ members. Most are open to allies; the group listing will say if attendance is restricted.

Women

Attendance is limited to women. Many groups welcome anyone who identifies as a woman; check with the group if you are unsure.

Discussion

A chair introduces a topic and members take turns sharing. This is the most common meeting format.

Literature

The group reads from approved fellowship literature and discusses it.

Open

Open meetings welcome anyone — family, friends, students, and people who are simply curious — not only those with a drinking or drug problem.

Speaker

One or more members share their story at length. Speaker meetings are a good fit if you would rather listen than talk.

Notes from the Group

Please use the back door of the church. The front entrance (on State St) is locked. The meeting is located in the library and can be accessed by back door on Chestnut St. Ring the doorbell if you cannot get in! We have permission to park in the lot off Chestnut St in the spots without numbers.
