- The group reads from and discusses the book Alcoholics Anonymous (the "Big Book").
- Closed
- Closed meetings are limited to people who have a desire to stop drinking or using. If you are not sure whether you qualify, an open meeting is the usual first stop.
- Literature
- The group reads from approved fellowship literature and discusses it.
- Speaker
- One or more members share their story at length. Speaker meetings are a good fit if you would rather listen than talk.
- Step Study
- The meeting works through the Twelve Steps, often using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions or a step working guide.
Notes from the Group
We meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The First Friday of the month is a speaker meeting. The Last Friday of the month is an anniversary speaker meeting. Both of them are open meetings. The Other Fridays are closed meetings with a literature reading.
