Closed meetings are limited to people who have a desire to stop drinking or using. If you are not sure whether you qualify, an open meeting is the usual first stop.

Discussion

A chair introduces a topic and members take turns sharing. This is the most common meeting format.

Discusses an article from AA's Grapevine magazine.

Notes from the Group

Weeks one, two, three, and five are Step meetings in numerical order Step one, step two, three, etc.. With week number four being on the tradition correlating to the current month we’re in. We reference the 12 x 12 often and usually read parts of the chapter relating to that weeks step or tradition. Then go around and share our experience, strength and hope regarding that night’s reading. Group ID: 000007678
