- The group reads from and discusses the book Alcoholics Anonymous (the "Big Book").
- Discussion
- A chair introduces a topic and members take turns sharing. This is the most common meeting format.
- Open
- Open meetings welcome anyone — family, friends, students, and people who are simply curious — not only those with a drinking or drug problem.
- Speaker
- One or more members share their story at length. Speaker meetings are a good fit if you would rather listen than talk.
- Step Study
- The meeting works through the Twelve Steps, often using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions or a step working guide.
- Tradition Study
- Studies the Twelve Traditions.
Notes from the Group
In Person ONLY 1st-Step, 2nd-Speaker, 3rd-Tradition, 4th-Big Book, 5th-Discussion No Meeting on July 14, 2026 due to the Church's Summer VBS. Meetings will resume the following week. We look forward to seeing you Tues, July 21 when meetings begin again.
