The meeting works through the Twelve Steps, often using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions or a step working guide.

Discussion

A chair introduces a topic and members take turns sharing. This is the most common meeting format.

Open

Open meetings welcome anyone — family, friends, students, and people who are simply curious — not only those with a drinking or drug problem.

Notes from the Group

First Tuesday of month = Step for month Second Tuesday = Tradition for month Third and Fourth Tuesdays = Open Discussion *If there is someone attending for their first AA meeting, we will have a First Step meeting. The First Step will be read and everyone will be asked to share their experience, strength, and hope as it relates to the First Step.
