- Closed meetings are limited to people who have a desire to stop drinking or using. If you are not sure whether you qualify, an open meeting is the usual first stop.
- Discussion
- A chair introduces a topic and members take turns sharing. This is the most common meeting format.
- Speaker
- One or more members share their story at length. Speaker meetings are a good fit if you would rather listen than talk.
- Step Study
- The meeting works through the Twelve Steps, often using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions or a step working guide.
Notes from the Group
This group meets in-person. A speaker presents their experience with Step 6 or 7, and then there is discussion. The meeting is in the brick building to the right of the main entrance, and then down a flight of stairs (unfortunately not wheelchair accessible).
