Northeastern Counseling Center provides outpatient substance abuse treatment and mental health services at its clinic in Vernal, Utah — the primary behavioral health resource for much of the Uinta Basin. For those without coverage or with limited income, the center offers a sliding fee scale based on family size and income — proof of income from the prior month is required to be considered for a reduced fee. The center's stated policy is clear: no one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay.
