Lifeskills South Florida begins the recovery process with medically supervised detox, providing 24/7 nursing support and continuous medical monitoring in a safe residential environment. Medical Director Daniel Bober, DO, oversees the detoxification process, ensuring clients receive appropriate medical care during withdrawal management.

The residential treatment program continues this intensive level of care in semi-private rooms within a peaceful setting. Low client-to-staff ratios allow for individualized attention while clients participate in structured programming designed to address substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and trauma-related issues.

Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs provide flexibility for individuals transitioning back to daily responsibilities while maintaining structured support. These outpatient programs allow clients to apply recovery skills in real-world settings while staying connected to their treatment team and peer support network.

The alumni program extends support beyond formal treatment completion, creating lasting connections within the recovery community. This aftercare component helps graduates maintain their sobriety through ongoing relationships with peers who understand the challenges and rewards of long-term recovery.

Lifeskills South Florida offers targeted programming for specific populations including women, veterans, and members of the Jewish community. Executive Director of Clinical Services David Ockman, PsyD, CAP, works alongside directors with training in EMDR and DBT approaches to address trauma and emotional regulation challenges common in early recovery.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) forms a core component of the therapeutic approach, helping clients identify and modify thought patterns that contribute to addictive behaviors.
