Cowlitz Indian Tribe Behavioral Health offers two levels of outpatient addiction treatment at its Longview clinic: a standard Outpatient Program and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). These levels of care are designed to support people at different points in their recovery — from those stepping down from a higher level of care to those beginning treatment while maintaining daily responsibilities at home or work.

The IOP provides a more intensive schedule of support than standard outpatient, making it well-suited for individuals managing co-occurring mental health conditions alongside substance use. Both programs are available five days a week, giving clients consistent, structured access to recovery support without requiring an overnight stay or residential placement.

Many people entering substance abuse treatment are also living with mental health conditions — depression, anxiety, trauma, and others.
