What it was like?

I lived alone and I wasn't really living I was just existing.

What happened?

A friend of my who was also a drinker died.

What it is like now?

I'm loving life. I see my family more often and they are proud of me again. I can now enjoy myself without alcohol. I'm also in the process of a new job
