Cocky, arrogant, and all about me. When I got sober I picked up food and I remained cocky, arrogant, and all about me. When things bothered me sugar was my best friend.

I got serious about my recovery when I attempted to alter my dress blues to fit my size 18 body (uniform top was a 12). This was an extremely low point for me and I went to treatment and have been working on my recovery since.

Today I am loving me and working on continuing to love me. I have jettisoned some barnacles and I am moving on. I still struggle with my life as do all of us in recovery; but I do not drink or eat to cope.
