Happy Friday from South Florida!
There’s a lot of pain in the world. How do you get through it? How do you stay positive while helping others overcome struggles – let alone yourself? We need each other. It’s easy to get burnt out. I’ve done it before. However, the only way to truly help those around you is to:
- Help Yourself
Be a helping hand – but help yourself first. Reach new heights. Exceed your own expectations. However, to live up to our full potential and to help others heal, we must heal ourselves.
Remember, even Superman needs a break. Take a bubble bath. Build a tree house. Read daily motivations. Lay in bed and read a book. Take an online course from home.
Take Time For You.
Being of service to the world can have it’s downfalls. In order to contain my sobriety, I sometimes need to take a timeout. I need a spiritual rejuvenation. An emotional break. Sometimes I just need to gain new tools to combat the new experiences I’ve withstood.
Don’t Believe The Bullsh*t
The lies we tell ourselves and others in our addiction can lead us down a dark path. Truth is, we’re not fooling anybody except ourselves. At one point or another, most of us have said some of these lies.

Trace recently celebrated 3 consecutive years of sobriety! In his own words, “In desperation, I started praying to a God I did not understand or trust. One morning, about 2 years later, I had a spiritual awakening. God spoke to me! God said to me “ your problem is already solved, now go out and live!” My obsession for alcohol vanished that morning.”
We will be going live on Facebook to Interview, Tim Ryan, speaker, author, A&E star, and motivational speaker who additionally lost his son to overdose. Do you have any questions for him?
