This past Thursday, coffee shop connoisseur and spiritual guru, Mike Brown sat down with Sober Nation and gave us some insight on what is going on across the nation in the bustling city of Windsor, Ontario.
Owner of “Spiritual Soldiers Coffee Compound,” Brown opened his doors just six months ago and has since become a sober spectacle Also coined, “sober bar,” the safe haven has since turned into a sober sanctuary where those struggling can share hope and camaraderie with others that have struggled with addiction.
Mike himself runs the shop with his two best friends also in recovery. In our interview he tells the story about how a conversation over a cup of coffee shaped his entire future, and how he’s doing the same thing – one cup of Joe at a time.
