Happy Halloween and a Quick Update

Hey everyone,

Sorry this newsletter is coming out on Tuesday instead of Friday. My girlfriend and I took a road trip from Boston all the way to South Florida. We went to my aunt wedding in Philly. It was a great time. Isn’t she pretty?

It’s been cooling down here in South Florida and for a minute I start to reminisce about the Halloweens’ and the fall days back up North. Watching leaves that turn our view of the sky a different color, and feeling the sharp cool air blow through the wind.

But, I can’t believe October has almost come to a close. And Halloween has passed and we only got 2 trick or treaters. 🙁

This week we’ve got some great odds and ends for ya!

Have a safe and sober Halloween and don’t forget to have fun!

You, Do You!

When we were using, we definitely weren’t ourselves. Sobriety has taught us that we have to make ourselves our first priority. Now you can show it off!. Our T-Shirt of the week takes a nice spin on this cliche and a cool and hip graphic.

Now you can say proudly, “I’m Doing Me!”

Your Brain On Drugs

This week on the “Your Brain On Drugs” Podcast, Lauren Brande sits down with Dr. Ben Romoli. He explains why heroin and painkillers cause so many overdose deaths, and why stimulants like Adderall, cocaine, and meth put your heart at risk.
